Have you seen all the fun vintage Chalkboard "Art"? Have you been wanting to get that look in any of your crafty projects? Me too! Here is my latest Chalkboard Technique adventures. I shared my Valentine Banner this week with you. But check out these fun cards…
I used my FREE Gift from Leadership (one of many) Stampin' Up!'s Just Thinking single stamp and one of my FREE Sale-A-bration stamps from the Vintage Verses Stamp Set.
This one uses a little lace from the Paper Doilies courtesy of the Tea for Two Suite of products. I love how graphic the simple color pallet of chalk white, Gumball Green and Basic Black look together.
You will need Whisper White Craft Ink, a Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, White Embossing Powder and your heat tool, a stamping sponge and a white pencil and ruler. Optional: White uni-ball Signo Gel Pen (I used it too, on some of my creations. WARNING Technique is addictive!)
I stamped my image once in Craft Ink, Heat embossed it in White, then use the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to stamp it a 2nd time, but don't heat emboss. Then get out your white pencil and start doodling.
I would suggest you make extra and practice to figure out the final design you want on your hand drawing. The good news is you can skip the hand drawing all together if you like…OR I found I could erase my white pencil.
Here are some more samples I saw of this technique at Leadership in Orlando last month.
If you need anything or have questions about the Stampin' Up! Products I used for my crafty creations please feel free to contact me! Thanks for stoping by today. Diana
