Our group is called UpSideDown Stamping and on Saturday August 26th, 2017 we gathered together for friends, food and stamping! We mostly focused our creations on the 2017 Holiday Stampin’ Up! Catalog. We did two SWAPs (trading ideas and handmade creations). The first swap you can see below, a traditional SWAP. We each created a card for each other, duplicating enough for everyone to trade. The second SWAP was a shoebox, where we all bring one completed card and we pass “shoeboxes” filled with supplies to each make the sample to take home. We all went home with a ton of different cards, with so many different colors, styles and various seasons and stamp sets. Here is a peak at the swaps…
What a good looking group of Stampin’ Up Demonstrators! The reason the event is called UpSideDown is because we are all Stamping’ Up! Demonstrators, but we are not all in the same, up-line or down-line. We all are “related” as demonstrators, but not necessarily “recruited” by the same up-line group. But we love sharing Stampin’ Up! and creating with each other. We meet about once per quarter and it is always a great time.
Table gifts for our two hostesses (Julie & Paula) that I made as a thank you. I used the Christmas Around the World Designer Series Paper & the Stitched Felt Embellishments from the Holiday Catalog with my Big Shot & the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits. I’ll post all the wonderful cards and ideas this week. Stay tuned for lots of inspiration coming your way. Thanks for stopping by, Diana Ball aka Stampingmoon!
