Do you ever surf the internet for inspiration? NAAAAAAAA! Or look around Pinterest for new ideas or inspiration. Well I was wanting just that and I found it! Check out this cute Pottery Barn pillow from a few years back? Bingo! I knew just the stamp set to use for a card! Feeling patriotic after all the Memorial Day events?
Here is my creation using the new Stampin’ Up! stamp set: Work of Art. This set can just about stamp anything…or I mean you can stamp a lot.
I used Real Red and Pacific Point Classic Ink stamp pads. The ribbon is the new Hello Honey satin ribbon. The button is from the Stampin’ Up! Very Vintage Designer Buttons packet. The shorter stripes or bars of red are made by masking. I just took a scrape of paper and tore the edge, and used it to block out the Pacific Point swash of ink. Pretty cute and fast card to make.
Weird thing is I have been make a lot of simpler projects lately. Not sure why, just having fun I guess?
I think I am really starting to like this stamp set. It was a freebie give away at the New Catalog Premier for Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators a few weeks ago. You’ll see a lot of this stamp set and tons of ideas if you are out in “inspiration” land, I mean on Printerest or the internet looking for stamping ideas. I hope you have a GREAT day. It will be a fast week with only four working days! Enjoy and thanks for stopping by today, Diana.
