Along with all the other Baby Shower Decor, I just HAD to make a Baby Banner. You can see my other Banner Versions here, here and here. Yes, I am addicted to making these things. And currently working on a Halloween themed banner as I type this post.
You can see the banner hanging in the background at the baby shower. It was on the opposite side of the room just above the gift table. It was just the perfect little extra accent for the wall. And like so many other decor items from the baby shower, it made a gift for the parents and decor for the nursery. Perfect!
Each flag or banner is 8 1/2″ by 5″ (approximately). I stitched on each of them, and used elements I created in My Digital Studio, my Big Shot, and Punches. I used a combination of card stock and Designer Series Papers and a few embellishments from some (retired) Simply Scrappin’ Kits.
Morning Post Alphabet Stamp SetSimple close pins attach the flags to a ribbon just hung on the wall with thump tacks. The letters spelling out Baby, are embossed in Wild Wasabi Embossing Powder using the Morning Post Alphabet Stamp Set.
Jessica just loved it! I hope this inspires you to make a gift or make your own banner for any special occasion you have coming up! All the supplies you need can be found here! Happy Crafting, Diana
