Do you love gift baskets? How about a sweet mini gift basket?
This was a super quick gift to put together. Originally I was thinking about making a Halloween mini gift. But once I saw how perfect this basket would go with all my St. Patrick's creations this week, I could not resist to add a shamrock.
I found the mini basket in the Easter Section. I actually purchased it for a $1 after Easter last year at World Market (love that place). Don't you just love a sale?
heat embossed with Gumball Green Embossing Powder on Whisper White, and used my Paper Snip Scissors to carefully cut out the shamrock and popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I also added Basics Rhinestones in the center of the shamrock that I colored with a green Sharpie Marker.
Using the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle I punched a Very Vanilla layer, then a Lucky Limeade layer with the 1-3/4" Circle. The last layer under the shamrock is punched with the 1-3/8" Circle in Tangerine Tango paper from the Designer Series Paper International Bazaar.
It is a very subtle details by I also put little dots of white uni-ball Signo Gel Pen on each scallop of the Whisper White layer. Hard to see in the picture, but super cute in real life.
This little gift took me all of five minutes to make. I had a ton of scraps from all my other projects scattered on my desk and just whipped this together lightening fast once I saw the basket in my "alter" bin.
You maybe asking what is an "alter" bin. It's not religious, it is my stash of stuff to alter or up-cycle. Empty jars, cans, stuff I get super cheap in the sale bins after holidays, etc. It's the perfect stash to keep around for quick and easy gifts, thank you's and just dressing up your home-made baking, candy-making or even making store-bought things special.
I hope you have a super week. Happy Craftiness. Diana
