I wanted a special treat for St. Patrick's Day for my neighbor. What could be better than chocolate? Guinness + Stamping + Chocolate.
I used heat embossing on the Shamrock from the Lucky Day single stamp in Gumball Green Embossing Powder on Lucky Limeade Card Stock. I used my Paper Snip Scissors to carefully cut out the shamrock. I also added Basics Rhinestones in the center of the shamrock that I colored with an orange Sharpie Marker. Stampin' Dimensionals give extra dimension to the tag elements. I used Chocolate Chip Card Stock for the box and dividers.
I visited the Guinness website and clipped the logo and printed it on Whisper White Card Stock and cut it out for my gift tag. I made the tag from Calypso Coral Card Stock, stamping it with Basic Black in using the Elements of Style stamp set.
I plan to take these Truffles to a St. Patrick's Day party this week. They taste like chocolate cake balls, with some kind of secret ingrediant. Very yummy, but salty. They kind of make you want to drink something…water, yes that's it. (smile)
It was totally fun to go back and use an old template for food treats to give. Paper is always fun and useful for getting creative. But adding a handmade treat to the stamping mix is becoming one of my favorite crafty adventures.
By the way, my neighbor LOVED the gift. Have a great evening. Thank you for stopping by tonight. Hope you are inspired to make some of those too cute ideas you are pinning over on Pintrest. I am having a great time doing just that. Diana
