Are you "way" into baking extra special treats? And then do you like to take it up another notch? This is just up your alley…
I changed the color from the lovely Pool Party color blue, to Gumball Green. I used 5 drops of Neon Green Liquid Food Coloring, and 1 drop of Neon Blue.
I placed them on my retired Lime-green Fiesta-ware plate and added my DIY Party Pick. Using the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle, the 1-3/4" Circle and the 1-3/8" Circle Punches in Gumball Green, and Lucky Limeade Card Stock layers with stamping and the First Editions Specialty Designer Series Paper. Adding tiny dots of my white uni-ball Signo Gel Pen to add a nice detail on each punched scallop.
Heat embossing the Shamrock from the Lucky Day single stamp in Gumball Green Embossing Powder on Lucky Limeade Card Stock. I used my Paper Snip Scissors to carefully cut out the shamrock and popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I also added Basics Rhinestones in the center of the shamrock that I colored with an orange Sharpie Marker (kind of looks red in my photo).
I used a clear plastic party pick instead of your basic wooden toothpick for a nice look. They are pretty long, so I just snapped it off at the height I liked.
It just makes for a special-day breakfast treat. You could make this with any colors and them you like. A little stamping extra for your little party on your plate. How fun, how simple, how quick is that?
Have a WONDERFUL day! Hope you are finding sometime to get your craft on…thanks for checking out another one of my St. Patrick's Day goodies. Are you over the green yet? It's not a normal "go-to" color for me…so I am having a lot of fun with the challenge. Have a great day, Diana.
