Do you love to make things personal? Do you love a deal? Check out what I made this week? It's a remix of a simple Shamrock door hanger…
You know how I love banners. This banner project is a small-scale banner added to a shaped wreath. I got this shamrock after St. Patrick's Day last year at 85% off original. Love it! That's such a deal I got a couple extra so I could decorate them and give them as gifts.
I used just a few supplies and the right tools. You'll need three colors of card stock, Whisper White, Gumball Green and Lucky Limeade. The pattern paper you will need is the Designer Series Paper International Bazaar it has a Lucky Limeade and Whisper White sheet, that has Tangerine Tango pattern on the back. You won't even need a full sheet and will have plenty of paper left over for LOTS of other projects.
I made mine with a layer of Gumball Green Card Stock and a layer of the Designer Series Paper International Bazaar. In the center I used my 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch with Lucky Limeade Card Stock and the 1-3/4" Circle Punch with the Designer Paper (backside) in the Tangerine Tango pattern. Then layered those punched out pieces on Whisper White Card Stock using the 2-1/2" Circle Punch.
All of the letters are cut with the Big Shot and the Typeset Alphabet Bigz Dies and cut from Gumball Green Card Stock. The tiny flags or banners are cut from Lucky Limeade Card Stock and embossed with the Big Shot and the Chevron Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
Each flag measures 1-1/2" x 3" with a notch punched out of the bottom of each flag using the 1-3/8" Square Punch. Most of the edges are sponged using Gumball Green Classic Ink. The letters are attached using Mini Glue Dots.
To hang the little banner-flags across the big glitter shamrock, I punched two holes in the top of each flag near the corners with the 1/8" Hand-held Punch. Then string Lien Thread through each flag and tie the ends to the wreath.
Super-cute and special just for your door (or whoever you choose to give it too). Have a super day. Happy Crafting. You can purchase all the supplies you need from me right here and you'll get a crafty consultant to go with that, me! Thanks for visiting today! All the best to you. Diana
