Once you start crafting on your worktable, do you start to just pick up scraps and make something from the cast-offs of other projects. I often stamp extra images when heat embossing especially. This baby card is the result of extras…
Remember this card here? This one uses a lot of the same supplies, but instead of Very Vanilla as the card base, it uses Whisper White. I did not sponge the edges and just tried to keep things clean and simple.
Stamping with VersaMark Ink, and heat embossing with Pool Party Stampin' Embossing Powder is how I got that cute little elephant on there. The tickets are stamped on Whisper White Card stock like the elephant, with Pretty in Pink and Pool Party Classic Ink. A Basics Pearls Jewels add dimension on the elephants eye.
The elephant stamp is from the Sale-A-bration (Free with $50 purchase) Patterned Occasions and tickets from the Spring Catalog That's the Ticket stamp sets. Love that Designer Series Paper Tea for Two. I cut out the Designer Series Paper with the Labels Collection Framelits and my Big Shot.
I used Pink Pirouette Card Stock with the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle, Whisper White Card Stock with the 1-3/8" Circle Punch. I also added tiny dots of my white uni-ball Signo Gel Pen one of my favorite, simple techniques.
The big ribbon is the lovely 1 1/4" Two-Tone Pink Pirouette/Rose Red Ribbon from the Spring Catalog. I love this new ribbon. I just had to get the Basic Gray/Basic Black version too. (I am hording it for Halloween.)
This card almost made itself. I just punched or cut out supplies that had been left-overs from other bigger projects (like this banner) I was working on anyway. It is nice to have some instant gratification smaller projects going at the same time as your bigger, more time consuming ones.
Thank you for stopping by today. Happy Hump-Day. Diana
