I made this for my mom, inspired by one of the Leadership presentations back in January. So fun…we decided to make it the focus of this months Stamping with Friends get-together.
I stamped a matching gift bag using the same stamp and supplies too…
The lovely, Swallowtail single stamp is behind my monogram. I stamped it with VersaMark Ink, and heat embossing with White Stampin’ Embossing Powder.
The lighter blue paper is Marina Mist. I also used Whisper White Card Stock. I stamped in both Marina Mist and Pacific Point Classic Inks. The little stamped silver magnets are Soda Pop Tops from the Spring Catalog. The stamp set Collage Curios fits perfect in side them. The tiny butter fly and wreath images are both from the set that includes all kinds of cute little images.
The 1″ Circle Punch fits perfectly in the large Soda Pop Tops. For just $3.95 you get 18 (8 small, 8 large). So fun to play with. I have some other projects I am working on with them…I’ll share soon.
This is one of the samples from Leadership. You put Galvanized Metal Roofing Flashing in your picture frame. I had this frame in my craft stash and it worked out perfect.
I love the silver edge with the silver Soda Pop Tops. Remove the glass, you won’t need it (recycle it) I did not attach my paper to the flashing but you could. You want cover the flashing a with Designer Series Paper of your choice. If you don’t attach the paper I think you can switch it out very easily later if you like…
Then stamp and decorate as desired. Hope you are having wonderful week. May spring find you! (And me too no more snow.) Thank you so much for stopping by today! Diana
