I used the Chalkboard Technique on the tags on Lucky Limeade. It is a very subtle look, but perfect for a Sunday Brunch Theme I think. I shared my Stamping with Friends project here.
The Tea Cakes tasted very yummy and looked super-cute too! I am thinking I am going to make Irish Soda Bread and fix it up in the same fashion for St. Patrick's Day. I have been extra busy creating for the holiday and have a ton to share with you. So not sure if I will get to that idea or not. But I already have more than a weeks worth of St. Patrick's day inspiration coming your way.
The Tea Bread was a hit. I made this recipe my own as follows…used Lemon Supreme Cake Mix, Coconut Cream Pudding, and Sliced Almonds instead of what the recipe calls for. It's what I had in the cabinet. And I ALWAYS use real Butter instead of oil. At the Brunch and Stamping we also had yummy muffins, an amazing Breakfast Casserole (Paula where is that recipe?), veggies, fruit and chex-mix. The food and friends was fab! I'll share the other creations with you in the next few posts.
We had a little "snow" event here…Snowageddeon 2013. We get snow in KC mind you…but not normally this much, this fast…yesterday we received 10 or so inches at my house…it's pretty…but they have closed almost everything including school…for two days now. Even the doctor's office called and cancelled Jame's appointment last night…look how cute my little crafty ruler looks in the snow next to my mini-David. Be safe, loving all the snow-bound craft-time! Diana
