Do you ever need a quick gift but want to spruce up something store bought? I don't think I can make better chocolate gifts than our local KC Annedore's, but I do want fancier packaging…so that's what I did for this gift.
What could be better than chocolate for Valentine's Day? Hand-stamped, spruced up chocolate! Just some simple embellishments, stamping, and voila! A custom-spruced up gift of chocolate from Annedore's.
I think it took me all of five minutes to add a bit of stamping love to this gift!
I used a Tea Lace Paper Doili from the Tea for Two Suite of products, and a Die-Cut Heart from the More Amore Designer Series Paper package. I stamped the tree from the Forever Young stamp set in Craft Black Ink and heat embossed it with Clear Stampin' Embossing power and my heat tool.
The sentiment is stamped in the same ink and embossed to match the tree image. I used the Ovals Collection Framelit's to cut out the sentiment. I also mounted the doilie and and heart die-cut to a Basic Black oval, punched it with my circle hand punch and tied it to the ribbon that came with the Annedore's Candy.
I know my parents will love the chocolate. Annedore's is kind of a tradition in our family. My mom gets chocolates every Valentine's day there. (Annedore's closed for a few years and my mom's employee's did not know what they had done wrong, when they did not receive little treats at their desks.) Happily the KC tradition continues now.
It is the cutiest, yummiest little chocolate shop you can visit Annedore's on Stateline. 5006 State Line Road, Westwood Hills, KS 6620, Phone: (913) 831.0302 in KC Directions: Just off the Plaza, 50th and State Line Road. Yummy!
Happy Valentine's Week. Happy Monday and thanks for stopping by today. If you need anything for your crafting and creating, let me know how I can help. Diana
