Are you ready to show your love? There is still time to get your craft on…here is a few ideas and things I have going on this week. I love Valentine's Day!
This is a card I am giving to a friend this week (with Chocolate from Annedore's). Paula brought this as her crafty project to the Pintrest party I attended a few weeks ago. I just had to change it a tiny bit. I added the little Real Red punched heart! Does that make it all about the love or what?
Here are three more "love" creations for your inspiration…from Sarah, Stampin' Up! and Dana.
They all three use the Hearts A Flutter and More Amore Suite you can only get for a limited time. I love the fresh and happy colors Stampin' Up! has put together in this suite. Real Red, Primrose Petals, Pool Party, Very Vanilla and a tiny touch of Basic Black. Perfect for your Valentine's Day creations and more.
I got my baking on, and thanks to the cookbook Baking with Julia I created this "lovey" version of Savory Brioche Pockets. I love the tiny little hearts on top. I did not have a 4" round biscuit cutter so I used my large heart cookie cutter. They came out tasty. What a fun excuse for more "hearts" and even in the kitchen!
Do you have any traditions or plans for this week? I always want to do more than I can or do get done. (So much inspiration and now with Pintrest too.) I have a binder of ideas for Valentine's day I have been hording and adding to since James was born (yes that makes 16 years now).
I hope you have a fun week, get to craft or kitchen craft, or just share your love this week. Happy Hearts to you Diana
