You can make a card for any holiday with your stamps and supplies. How about a quick, but special St. Patrick's day card today?
Using the super perfect for our week, Lucky Day single stamp for my project. A great way to get extra milage from your stamps with word + image, is to cut them apart, creating two stamps from one. This stamp is a single wood mount. So just put the word on the end, and the image on the flat of the wood and volia, two stamps.
The 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch in Tangerine Tango Card Stock was a perfect to layer with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch shamrock I I heat embossed in Gumball Green Embossing Powder for the center focal point of this card.
For the background of the card I random stamped Lucky Limeade Classic Ink on Whisper White Card Stock with the same shamrock stamp. Sponging the edges of the background pulls the layers together and softens the Whisper White against the darker Gumball Green Card Stock.
The special touch and bling on this card is the added Basics Rhinestones in the center of each shamrock that I colored with my orange Sharpie Marker. (I LOVE doing that fast and simple technique with my Rhinestones. Now I can have any color I want. Don't you just love options!)
