Watercolor techniques are the number one technique my customers ask me to demonstrate. This card uses the popular technique and the hot color trend of mono-chromatic color schemes. It is a super great way to start out with water-coloring and color theory.
My most succesful way to watercolor is to always use Watercolor Paper. It really is the "secret" to a successful project. You know the saying about the right tool…
This card has just a little party hat watercolored for a simple pop of color. And the color is simple, just two of my favorites right now: Tangerine Tango and Very Vanilla.
When in doubt about color, focus on one or two and tone-on-tone and you will always find your creation has a clean and fresh, cohesive look.
This card was one of the Make & Take Projects from our Mini Convention event last month. Are the polka dots and elephant not super fun?
Did you notice the tiny little tickets? Love them! Glue dots are a must after you punch out those little guys. And how great the stamp set has a matching punch! Stampin' Up! makes creativity so easy and fun.
