This project is super sweet and would make a great housewarming gift. I know I'd love a surprise like this one. If you'd like to make one, get your Big Shot Ready…and a tiny bit of sewing. (But just a ruffle.)
This is part fabric, part paper, all Big Shot. (Yes, those letters have retired, boo-who, sniff, sniff. If I have said it before, I'll say it again, get them supplies and tools while you can. You never know what will retire and be unavailable in the future.) You may remember a few of my other banners for Love here and Spring here, I like to mix in the 3-D creations every-now and again.
So anyway here are some close up shots of each square or letter…
I cut everything but the little hummingbird stamped image with my Big Shot and various dies. To give a nice solid service to work with I used the Fabric Adhesive Roll (122194) to layer the fabric to Very Vanilla Cardstock, then cut as usual with my dies and Big Shot.
Stamps: Elements of Style (120045 Clear)
Ink: Early Espresso Classic Ink (126974)
Paper: Chocolate Chip (102128) textured is retired, Soft Suede Cardstock (115318), Pretty in Pink Cardstock (100459), First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper (121878)
Accessories & Tools: Big Shot (113439), Scallop Square Bigs Clear (115950), Scallop Circle Bigz (113468), Circles #2 Originals (114526)
What do you think? I made this originally for Stampin' Up! Convention Display boards (2010), so there is some retired textured paper, ribbon and of course those letter dies. But I never got a chance to share this with you. Hope you will forgive me for the delay.
Do you have some crafty creations to share? Need any crafting ideas…I am ready to come to the rescue. Thanks for stopping by today. What are you happily crafting this week? Diana
