Jar Crafts are hot, hot, hot. So is the temperature here in the midwest. This heat is causing a winter like hibernation, perfect for crafting! So to stay cool, stay inside with the air conditioning and break out your sewing machine and those jars I know you have been hording.
Our local grocery store is having a rose sale (.50 each!) so this little bouqet was a perfect low-cost addition to my sewing and jar craft. What do you think?
It was super simple, I just basically sewed a little rectangle of fabric with a ruffle on top. I used the jar as my measuring template, so you could make this same simple wrap for any size jar you are looking to dress up.
I thought it came out looking very girly and "French" which is perfect for flowers and as the fabric name implies.
The ribbon is just tied around the wrap to hold it in place. Again, super simple!
I used the Stampin Up! Beau Chateau Fabric (122336) The colors include Marina Mist, Pink Pirouette, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla. The ribbon is now retired (sniff, sniff, why you should grab the supplies and stamps while you can.)
I hope you are finding some time to craft and staying cool and hydrated during this scorcher of summer. If I can help you with any crafting questions or supplies you need please email me (diana at stampingmoon dot com) or visit my Stampin Up! Store here. Happy Cool Crafting. Diana
