The "You're Amazing" stamp set (126720) has this fun party elephant stamp that I keep debating if I want to color him or not. So on this card I decided to share with you watercoloring and not and let you decide.
What do you think? I also used my new favorite sizzlit "Delicate Doilies L*" (126999) I had always wanted to layer this size with a scallop or something. So now I can make lots of quick and easy cards by layering any image punched from the Stampin Up! 2 1/2" Circle Punch (120906). Swoon! I can fit so many different stamped images in that sucker.
The background paper is stamped directly with the happy birthday image in Craft Basic Black ink (102192). You can not really tell in the pictures, but the elephant is embossed black craft ink with Black Stampin' Emboss Powder (109133) on Watercolor Paper (122959) another one of my favorite "go-to" products. The paper is so substantial and PERFECT for watercolor techniques I adore.
I used my Stampin' Write Marker (Incolor 2001-13 5 Pack 123002) in Calypso Coral with my Blender Pens (3 Pack 102845) to do my watercoloring of the party hat.
Now you might be wondering when Stampin' Up! started selling Black Pearls? Well they haven't. I made my own. Every crafter has some Sharpie Markers in the house right? Well did you know you can "stain or color" your Pearl Basic Jewels (119247)? That is just what I did, BRILLIANT!
Other supplies used: Calypso Coral Cardstock (122925), Very Vanilla Cardstock (101650), Stampin Dimensionls (104430) and SNAIL Adhesive (104332).
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and find some creative time for you and yours. Our family walked down to the Lee's Summit Farmer's Market this morning, so I am off to see what I can create with our yummy finds from the local Missouri growers. Happy Crafting, thanks for stopping by today. Diana
