Okay once again I am obsessing about a project…I just had such a fun and crafty day today…check out what I made.
To make the box cut two pieces of card stock 3" x 3" and score a half inch in on all sides.
Next fold and glue in tabs to make a mini box lid and bottom.
Next cut a window sheet to 3.5" by 8.25", score just shy of every 2" to create long box walls. *(see Tip: Below…if using Tess on your boxes make it 4" x 8.25")
Use Sticky Strip again to glue box sides to the bottom ONLY of the two little trays you made.
Next cut and glue a strip of Designer Paper 1" x 12" around the bottom tray, and the top/lid tray. (still not attached.)
Use a hand punch and punch two holes in the sides of the top lid.
Slide it on to the window sheet walls and mark where the holes line up, then remove and punch the window sheet where marked.
(Fill your box with candy, gift, etc.)
Thread your ribbon through the holes, then out the sides of the top lid/tray, tie to close.
I used Basic Black Ink. Cutting everything out with my paper snips and a craft knife as needed.
Apply little pieces of Sticky Strip to the back of Tess to adhere. *TIP: I made the last box a little taller (4" x 8.25") so that I did not have to attache her head to the lid. You can't open the shorter version without detaching her head and stamp…oops.
I made three in all…more too cute, cuties tomorrow. Happy Sunday. I hope you found some time to be creative today. It was a nice break. If you need anything be sure to check out my Website here. Diana
